Railhead Systems begins shipping locomotive video systems to GE’s factory in Eskisehir, Turkey.
The contract was officially awarded on March 12 for new forward, interior, and side view locomotive video systems. Railhead’s equipment is to be installed on GE’s new builds including provisions for eventually adding cameras on TCDD’s entire fleet totaling over 800 systems.
Locomotive video is becoming increasingly popular as a way to improve employee training practices and avoid costly litigation.
