BYD is now the official Global Car and Bus Partner to the Arsenal Football Club following an agreement signed in London this week. The Partnership will focus on BYD’s strength as a leader in electric vehicles.
The agreement also covers hospitality opportunities and branding at the iconic Emirates Stadium in north London, home of the Gunners, as the Arsenal team is informally known.
Speaking after the signing, Sherry Li, BYD’s general manager for global branding and PR, said: "We are delighted to be associated with the world famous Arsenal Football Club. It’s a great honor for BYD to start this relationship which is appropriate given our joint commitment to the environment. We look forward to working together in the coming months to raise the profile of our combined sustainable vision and, in BYD’s case, our zero emissions products".
