As a stress-free, safe and reliable way to travel between San Francisco and San Jose, Caltrain is the smart choice for residents looking to shop, dine and play.

This month, the rail agency launched Go Caltrain, a website that lists upcoming events, sports, festivals and other attractions that can be easily reached on Caltrain.

Located at go.caltrain.com, the website is an easy-to-read guide on the best local places to eat, dine and play. Containing information on upcoming farmers’ markets and local museums and theaters, the website is a great resource for passengers looking to add a little fun to their lives. And for those looking to save a few bucks, Go Caltrain also alerts passengers about events offering discounts to Caltrain customers.

Previously, Caltrain issued a quarterly print brochure — called Track the Fun — that listed upcoming attractions. Go Caltrain replaces that publication.

The Bay Area is one of the most vibrant cultural centers in the world, but traffic congestion and parking can make it difficult to get to must-see attractions. With Go Caltrain, local families have another tool to discover all these wonderful events that are only a convenient Caltrain ride away.
