ABC has recognized and thanked three employees who have recently been recognized for 30 years of exceptional service to their customers and the industry.
Wendy Hansen started at ABC financial services as a young married mother of a 2 year old. She pointed out, “I’m a bit of a behind the scenes employee but I enjoy the interaction with customers and lenders. I’ve met and worked with a lot of wonderful people at ABC." Hansen started as a document coordinator and is now the senior financial services administrator for ABC Financial Services.
Carlo Schiantabasti worked for 11 years as a mechanic at the Auch-Merz Bus Lines in Philadelphia before being hired by ABC to become a Technician in their then-new Camden facility. Over the years he’s built warm relationships with customers all over the East Coast. Schiantabasti said “ABC treated me well from the very start, and always made me feel like family. It’s been a great career filled with lots of friendships, both inside the company and with customers.”
Until he was 28, ABC’s Southern California Senior Account Manager Charlie Walser was involved in agriculture not far from ABC’s Faribault Minnesota facility. A family member introduced him to the Cornell’s and he took a job with ABC in part because he enjoyed working with people. It quickly became apparent that he was gifted in working with customers and ABC transferred him to California. Walser prides himself on building long term relationships, earning customers’ trust and has always considered a good deal as one where “both the buyer and the seller benefit.”
Dane Cornell, ABC’s CEO and chairman, added, “A 30 Year Anniversary is a milestone that is not often achieved in the workplace today and we are truly honored to be able to recognize three ABC employees for this 30 year milestone. We appreciate their dedication and loyalty to our organization and service and commitment to our customers. A heartfelt thank you to Carlos, Charlie, and Wendy from all of us for a job well done and we look forward to many more successful and productive years.”
