Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) riders will be getting into the holiday spirit this month thanks to audio messages playing onboard all MCTS buses now through Christmas.
MCTS staff members from numerous cultural backgrounds recorded happy holiday wishes in 10 different languages. The two messages are running once an hour over the onboard audio system.
“This is our way of ringing in the holiday season as well as spreading joy across the county,” said MCTS Managing Director Dan Boehm. “Our riders come from all walks of life and we wanted to show them that our employees do too. Embracing diversity and inclusion is a core value for MCTS. We want all of our riders to feel the holiday spirit this year.”
