HART Offers $15 Kids' Summer Blast Pass

Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) Summer Blast Pass (SBP) is Kids' Ticket to freedom this summer.

For the eleventh consecutive year, kids can blast into summer with the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) Summer Blast Pass. For just $15, students 18 and younger get unlimited rides on HART local bus routes all summer long. The HART SBP is a perfect way to get to summer jobs, the movies, the mall and all of the local favorite places.  

Avoid the hassle of having to drive the kids everywhere. Get kids their own set of wheels this summer and get them a HART Summer Blast Pass. The pass allows unlimited rides on HART from June 1 to August 31, for just $15.00 — a significant savings from the cost of one monthly pass. It's one of the best summertime bargains for kids and teens to ride all over Hillsborough County. 

The HART Summer Blast Pass offers youth 5 to18 unlimited rides on HART Local, Limited Express, MetroRapid, In-Town Trolley and HARTFlex routes from June 1 to August 31.    

Summer Blast Pass users must be between ages 5 -18. HART Summer Blast Passes may be purchased at:

  • Marion Transit Center, 1211 N. Marion St. in Downtown Tampa. Customer Service Window Hours:  Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • HART at City Hall, 306 E. Jackson St. in Downtown Tampa. Customer Service Window Hours Open:  Monday & Friday Only, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  • HART Ybor Office, 1201 E. Seventh Ave., in Ybor City. Open:  Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • University Area Transit Center, 13110 N. 27th St. in Tampa. Customer Service Window Hours:  Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

HART SBP is not valid for use on HARTPlus, Express service and the TECO Line Streetcar System. Users 12 and younger must have an adult traveling with them.  

A HART Summer Blast Pass means independence and parents who don't want to play chauffeur in the coming months can offer their kids a way to be green, learn independence and save money.
