LTK Engineering Services has announced that Dominic DiBrito will become president of LTK Engineering Services as of January 1, 2017.

LTK Engineering Services has announced that Dominic DiBrito will become president of LTK Engineering Services as of January 1, 2017.  In assuming his new role, DiBrito will replace George Dorshimer, who will be retiring. Dorshimer has served as LTK’s president for 22 years, during which time the firm tripled in size. DiBrito will be only the fifth president in LTK’s 95 years.

DiBrito joined LTK in 2005 after compiling a diverse background that encompasses all aspects of the rail transportation industry. He consulted to both government and the supply industry, and later served as the chief engineer for a rail car manufacturer, leading the design and manufacture of a modern self-propelled diesel railcar.

“Since joining LTK, Dominic has proven his value in a number of significant ways”, said Dorshimer. “He nurtured important client relationships in the San Francisco Bay Area, then headed to Australia, where he was the first employee of our new affiliate, NDYLTK Rail.”  Over the succeeding four years, Dominic grew LTK’s Australian affiliate successfully despite unfavorable economic conditions, and set the stage for long-term success.  Upon his return to the US, he managed LTK’s New York office, supporting New York City Transit with new subway car procurements, while continuing to oversee activities in Australia as a member of the NDYLTK Board of Directors.

“It is an honor to be selected by the LTK Board to lead this company”, said DiBrito. “LTK is an incredible organization, with a culture that emphasizes ethics, quality, and client focus. I look forward to working closely with George over the next seven months to ensure a smooth transition, and will do my best to build on the foundation that was established under his stewardship.”
