Marcus in Transportation Planning Role at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff

Richard J. Marcus will support the management of complex transportation planning projects as a senior supervising planner in the Los Angeles office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Prior to joining WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, Marcus served in senior management positions with a variety of government agencies, including the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), the Southern California Association of Governments, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), MTA-Metro North Railroad, Mountain Metro Transit, San Francisco County Transportation Authority, and Citybus in Santa Rosa. He has also worked for a transportation planning consultancy firm. 

Marcus received a master’s degree in transportation planning and a bachelor’s degree in sociology, both from the University of California at Los Angeles. He also earned a public policy certificate from the London School of Economics.
