HART Introduces Shop and Dine Program

Aug. 31, 2015

Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) is encouraging residents and visitors alike to support local businesses during rail construction.

HART has created a free program called Shop and Dine on the Line in partnership with businesses along the rail corridor.

Similar to successful programs in other cities that have built rail projects, the aim is to have people frequent restaurants, merchants and shopping centers near rail construction.

Businesses are offering special discounts and deals to attract customers.

HART has created a brochure containing all the current offers and discounts.

Redeeming discounts and offers is easy.  Just browse through the offers and discounts, stop by the participating business, show your program card or the discount brochure — or just mention Shop & Dine on the Line — and receive your special discount.

Shop & Dine on the Line is one of several business outreach programs HART is making available to assist businesses during rail construction.

The program will be extended to businesses operating in the Airport and City Center sections of the project at a later date
