Antaira Launches 12-Port Unmanaged PoE Switches

April 29, 2015

Antaira Technologies announced the expansion of its industrial networking infrastructure family with the introduction of the LNP-1202G-SFP and LNP-1204G-SFP series.

Both the LNP-1202G-SFP and LNP-1204G-SFP are 12-port industrial grade unmanaged Ethernet switches with PoE+ capabilities that are IEEE 802.3at/af compliant.  The units require a high voltage power input of 48~55VDC to support up to 30 watts of PoE power output per port. The LNP-1202G-SFP series supports 10*10/100/1000Tx (w/8*PSE: 30W/Port) RJ45 ports, and 2*100/1000 SFP slots; whereas, the LNP-1204G-SFP series supports 8*10/100/1000Tx (w/8*PSE: 30W/port) RJ45 ports, and 4*100/1000 SFP slots. The PoE ports utilize self-adjusting power to ensure that excess power is not supplied to end devices, thus preventing damage. The SFP fiber ports are able to support any type of fiber connection; multi-mode or single-mode for short or long haul applications. These SFP ports can also support dual rate speeds, meaning either 100Fx or 1000Fx fiber connections

These new PoE+ switch models provide EFT surge (2,000VDC), and ESD (6,000VDC) protection. The devices also have a dual power input design with reverse polarity protection. Additionally, there is a built-in relay warning function.
