Black Box Corp. announced April 16 that David Pasternak has joined Black Box as vice president of human resources. In this role, Pasternak will oversee the development and execution of Black Box Corp.'s global human resources function, including talent acquisition, human capital development, workforce planning and administration.
Pasternak brings to the company over 20 years of progressive human resources experience from a variety of industries including technology, distribution and services. Mr. Pasternak will report directly to Mike McAndrew, chief executive officer.
Prior to joining Black Box, Pasternak was the vice president of human resources for Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. In that role he was responsible for the overall strategy of the human resources function, including improving organizational efficiency, business integration and increasing the talent level of the organization during a period of significant business expansion. Prior to Beacon, Pasternak held human resource positions of increasing responsibility at General Electric and Tyco International.
