On April 10, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) published Circular 6100.1E. This circular is a reissuance of guidance on application procedures and project management responsibilities for FTA’s Research Programs. This revision incorporates provisions of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP‑21), and includes the most current available guidance as of the date of publication.
These requirements are intended to assist recipients in administering FTA-funded projects and in meeting Federal assistance responsibilities and reporting requirements.
