First Transit announces that the company has been awarded the contract for Oregon Health Authority’s Tri County MedLink for Portland and surrounding areas. The contract began Jan. 1, and is for four years. It engages First Transit to serve as the regional broker for arranging Non-Emergent Medical Transportation for OHA clients in the Portland Metro area.
Vice President Sharad Agarwal states, “First Transit is honored to be selected by OHA to oversee the thousands of trips that TriCounty MedLink clients take each month. Our dedication to safety and quality will be felt be each and every passenger we serve.”
First Transit General Manager Cori Walter will oversee the services for TriCounty MedLink, bringing to bear her expertise and 20 of experience managing all aspects of NEMT brokerage.
