Joe Yannuzzi Joins Transdev as GM of Tri-Rail

Transdev Chief Operating Officer for the Rail Division Ron Robusto, announced that Joe Yannuzzi has joined the Transdev team as general manager of the Tri-Rail operations contract for the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA).  Yannuzzi is a 37-year railroad industry veteran with a wide variety of operational expertise.

In making the announcement Robusto said, “Joe is dedicated and experienced leader who is well respected in our industry.  His passion for creating a safe and service-oriented culture will be a great fit for this location.   I know that we will continue to provide the safest, highest quality service to our clients and passengers under his leadership.”

Prior to joining Transdev, Yannuzzi proved himself to be a seasoned and experienced manager, holding management positions at various railroad properties around the country including San Diego, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.  His goal at the Tri-Rail contract is to enhance relationships with partners and between employees while building on the strong safety record and service culture that already exist. 

Yannuzzi’s railroad career began in 1974 as a Penn Central crew dispatcher. From there, he took on increasing roles and responsibilities in management and has an impressive track record ofaccomplishments.  Yannuzzi replaces Charles McClarty, the prior Transdev general manager at Tri-Rail, who recently retired.
