Transdev began operating service on Oct. 5, under a new bus contract with Foothill Transit. After a seamless startup, Transdev is now providing operations and maintenance for approximately half of Foothill Transit’s service with 145 vehicles and 382 employees. This contract was awarded to Transdev in July and is focused on bus operations originating from Foothill’s Arcadia operations and maintenance facility.

Transdev will bring innovation to this contract through the addition of a new bus operations center, which will enable more active management of drivers and the vehicles deployed at any given time within the system. The company will also bring innovations to the customer experience through improved customer feedback management, additional social media engagement and new, improved dispatching tools.
