Parsons' Seattle Office Welcomes Cotten as Senior Project Manager

Parsons announced the appointment of Michael Cotten as senior project manager in Parsons’ Seattle office. He will provide direction and management for the execution of significant infrastructure projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Cotten has served with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) for the last 30 years, most recently as the assistant regional administrator for the Northwest Region. He was responsible for overseeing design, environmental services, landscape architecture, real estate services, and developer services for highway construction projects in King and Snohomish Counties, as well as the coordination of the Sound Transit Link light rail expansion program. Cotten had previously led major design-build projects for WSDOT in the Seattle and Everett area.

Cotten is licensed as a professional engineer in Washington and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
