Jennifer Pyrz has been named a supervising planner in the Indianapolis office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Jennifer Pyrz has been named a supervising planner in the Indianapolis office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In her new position, Pyrz will be responsible for managing a local environmental practice to support ongoing projects for highway and transit clients.

Pyrz has 19 years of experience in the transportation consulting industry, managing and providing technical analysis for a diverse range of projects including environmental studies, traffic forecasting, transit alternatives analyses, transportation plans, operational analyses, architectural design, and safety audits. She previously served as Implementation Engineer for Purdue University’s Joint Transportation Research Program. From 2006 through 2013 she led the traffic engineering practice in Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Indianapolis office. In that capacity, she increased local staff, expanded the office’s project portfolio, secured new clients and services, and provided technical expertise on a wide variety of projects.

Pyrz received M.S. and B.S. degrees in civil engineering from Purdue University. She is a past president of the Indiana chapter of Institute of Transportation Engineers, a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar, and a fellow of the Eno Center for Transportation. She is a registered professional engineer in Indiana.
