Evie Sproviero has been named a senior supervising engineer in the Newark, N.J., office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In her new position, Sproviero is responsible for planning and designing power stations and equipment in support of power, transportation infrastructure, and transit projects. She has over 24 years’ experience in electrical engineering design, procurement, construction, and management. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, she was a lead electrical engineer for a power engineering company, supervising engineering efforts for high-voltage power transmission and generation projects, including substations, wind farms, and solar plants.
Sproviero received an M.S. in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a B.S. in electrical engineering from The City College of New York. She is a past president of the North Central Jersey Chapter of the Society of Professional Engineers and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
