Reinventing Bus Washing

Belanger’s Transit Wash System is built to wash buses — quickly, reliably and cost-effectively, with its efficient drive-thru format. And since every component is free-standing and modular, we can design the best wash for you — from a money-saving friction wash, to an accommodating touchless system, to a ‘hybrid’ wash offering the best of both.

The Gyro Wraps are self-stabilizing and pivot through a full 360°, hugging contours for a thorough clean — front, sides and rear — while remaining gentle on mirrors, bike racks and bus graphics. Side brushes are available in single-hung or double-hung designs, with filament or Neotex foam wash media.

What’s more, our all-friction and ‘hybrid’ friction/touchless washes can recycle 85 percent of wash water — using just 50 gallons of fresh water per wash. And the smart controller shuts off power and water in less than one second between buses — for ultimate conservation.

Belanger’s V-Max Large Vehicle Wash is perfect for mixed fleets. With its overhead gantry design, the V-Max easily washes vehicles from transit buses to Crown Vics — and everything in between, including Gradalls, dump trucks and even backhoes.

As a severe-duty touchless wash, the V-Max delivers millions of reliable wash cycles, cleaning vehicles of all shapes and sizes in just three to six minutes each. Its 100 percent damage-free design safely cleans every surface, including bike racks and light bars.

And unlike fixed-arch rollovers, the V-Max dual-arm design delivers a powerful clean using just 72 gallons per minute — less than a quarter of the water required by some touchless competitors.
