The STM was proud to learn that its educational program about the corporation’s legal and administrative aspects, offered to employees, managers and board members, is one of the finalists for an award of excellence in the municipal category from the Institut d’administration publique du Québec.
In the past three years, the STM’s legal affairs department has developed the in-house program, comprised of 25 separate sessions, and offered it to employees to educate, inform and prepare them to deal with issues and interrogations about ethics, regulations or the legal framework, to ensure good governance at the STM. So far, more than 3300 employees have attended at least one session.
Winners will be unveiled on Nov. 19.
