After 37 years of service, the first woman to become a driver for the Société de transport de Montreal retires.

In 1977 Francine Maltais enters the company was then called CTCUM.

Over the years, women have taken their place in the company and began to perform jobs previously reserved for men because of the courage of Maltais and the other women who followed. Maltais is a pioneer and STM greets and wishes him a happy retirement.
