Chris Williges has joined HDR as the transportation economics and finance director, based in San Francisco.
His primary responsibilities include overseeing the continued growth of HDR’s technical expertise as well as promoting economic and finance services to clients.
Prior to joining HDR, Williges was a principal and vice president at System Metrics Group Inc., a California-based consulting firm he helped establish more than a decade ago. He has over 20 years of experience conducting transportation economics, planning, engineering and strategic assignments for public- and private-sector clients.
Williges is a member of the transportation economics committee of the Transportation Research Board. He holds a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics from Stanford University, and master’s degrees in civil engineering and city planning, both from the University of California at Berkeley.
