MA: PVTA Implements Automatic Call Back System for Paratransit Riders

The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) will implement an automated call back system beginning the week of April 20.

The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) will implement an automated call back system beginning the week of April 20.

The automated system will begin calling riders back the night before their trip with their pickup windows. Riders will also be able to cancel their trip(s) at the time of the call.  A new feature with this system is that riders will receive a “call-ahead” a few minutes before the van arrives to let them know the van is on the way.
