Mountain Metropolitan Transit (MMT) will provide volunteer staff and access to two city buses for a training exercise for 20 – 30 Go Team Therapy Dogs on March 29 at MMT’s facilities.
Go Team Dogs and handlers have assisted both victims and first responders during emergencies, including the Waldo Canyon and Black Forest fires. During these emergency situations they are often transported by bus. The training exercise is structured to help dogs and their handlers grow accustomed to being on a bus.
