LTK Announces Staff Appointments

LTK Engineering Services is pleased to announce the following appointments of senior staff:

Lloyd Mack has been appointed Seattle area manager.  Since joining LTK in 2008, Mack has served as LTK’s project manager for rail systems and rail vehicle engineering activities for Sound Transit’s expanding Link light rail system and Sounder commuter rail network.  Mack previously served the Regional Transportation District in Denver over a 17-year period, rising to the position of assistant general manager for operations.  Mack’s broad experience covers all aspects of rail transit design, construction management, operations and maintenance, and he is a prominent figure in the evolving North American light rail community.

Paul Novak has been appointed Chicago office manager.  Novak has spent more than three decades working in all capacities of railroad and rail transit signaling and train control.  For more than 15 years, he has served as the senior signal consultant in LTK’s Chicago Office, working primarily on a series of successful projects for Metra and CTA.  Paul’s experience includes interlockings, grade crossing protection, and a full range of signal and train control designs for both relay and microprocessor-based circuitry.  Prior to joining LTK, he spent 18 years with the Illinois Central Railroad as a signalman.
