OH: Metro and TANK Compete in Stuff the Bus Food Drives

Metro and the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) will compete to get the most nonperishable items for local nonprofits at the 2013 Stuff the Bus food drive in Cincinnati in Northern Kentucky.

Metro and the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) will compete to get the most nonperishable items for local nonprofits at the 2013 Stuff the Bus food drive in Cincinnati in Northern Kentucky.

On Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Metro will be at the Anderson Kroger, 7580 Beechmont Ave., and TANK will be at the Buttermilk Towne Center Remke Market, 560 Clock Tower Way, Crescent Springs, Ky.

This friendly competition will benefit the less fortunate this holiday season. Cincinnati donations will be provided to the Freestore Foodbank and Northern Kentucky donations will go to Be Concerned in Covington.

Look for Metro and TANK buses and staff who will be on hand to collect the most needed items, including:

  • canned meat products
  • peanut butter
  • canned vegetables and fruits
  • canned soups
  • macaroni and cheese
  • personal care items
