Lee Castellion has been named a senior communications engineer in the Denver office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In his new position, Castellion will manage rail communications projects, developing specifications, reviewing designs, and integrating systems.  He has 25 years of systems engineering experience, much of it developing and integrating large intelligent transportation, transit, and public-safety systems. 

Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, Castellion was a senior systems solution engineer with a leading communications company, serving as designated subject matter expert for transit.  He was the chief systems engineer and designer for integrated telecommunications systems supporting a real-time vehicle location and arrival information system for the San Francisco Municipal Transit Agency. He also designed integrated systems for TriMet in Portland, Ore., and Dallas Area Rapid Transit in Texas.

Castellion received an M.S. in telecommunications from the University of Colorado and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Iowa State University.  He is a member of IEEE, the Project Management Institute, and INCOSE.
