The Macatawa Area Express (MAX) transit system is offering a free DVD that teaches lakeshore residents how to ride the fixed bus routes that they can watch in the comfort of their own home.
The 30-minute DVD is an edited version of MAX’s classroom tavel training class, which is held several times a year. Both the DVD and class teach new transit users how to read bus schedules, plan trips, and make transfers.
Upcoming travel training classes are scheduled for 4-5:15 p.m. Oct. 9 and Feb. 12 at the Padnos Transportation Center at 171 Lincoln Ave. The classes are free, but advance reservations are required.
