DC: Rob Victor Joins HDR

Rob Victor, P.E., has joined HDR as transportation business group manager for Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, based in Washington, D.C. and Vienna, Va.

Rob Victor, P.E., has joined HDR as transportation business group manager for Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland, based in Washington, D.C. and Vienna, Va. In addition to operations, his role includes business development, civic affairs and contribution on local projects.

Prior to joining HDR, Victor was an associate vice president, business development manager and senior project manager with AECOM. He has 18 years of engineering industry experience, including project management roles on major projects for clients including the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, CSX Transportation and the Pennsylvania, Missouri and Illinois departments of transportation.

Victor is active in professional organizations, including the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) and American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ (ASCE) society-wide board of direction, has chaired numerous national committees and is a recipient of the 2013 ASCE President’s Medal.

A professional engineer in six jurisdictions, Victor holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
