SafeTrack is now being offered to the transit and commuter rail markets.

The web-based application currently manages over 5000 employees across 15 customers including railroad holding companies, short line and regional railroads. MaxAccel will soon be implementing SafeTrack for our first commuter rail contract operator.

SafeTrack’s state of the art functionality includes simultaneous capture of multiple rules and multiple employees in the same observation event, automated email notification for tracking and follow up of failed observations or test events, predefined or ad hoc report generation and cellular wireless operation for efficient and paperless field work. The application measures and trends safety training program performance to provide immediate feedback and direct appropriate follow-up resources. Instant access to the data provides real time insights to compliance requirements and related information.

Efficiency Testing, OPs Testing, Engineer Check Rides, Territory Qualifications, 49 CFR Part 217/218 Summary Testing, Engineer & Conductor Certification (49 CFR Part 240/242), safety rules and classroom briefings are all managed by SafeTrack. Pending regulatory compliance requirements such as 49 CFR Part 243, Minimum Training Standards for Safety-related Employees, are easily incorporated into SafeTrack.

MaxAccel is represented in the Transit and Commuter Rail markets by MS Transit Solutions.
