The Macatawa Area Express Transportation Authority, announced the promotion of Sylvie Lepird and Bill Bowerman.
Lepird, who has served as part time marketing assistant for the past three years, was promoted to the assistant manager of marketing and customer service. In her new role, she will supervise MAX’s call center, manage social media and MAX’s website, prepare marketing materials, and serve as human resources coordinator.
Bowerman was promoted to safety and training coordinator. He has been a bus operator with MAX since 2007, and has assisted dispatch and road supervision. He has more than 20 years’ experience with the U.S. Navy as a Machinist Mate Chief SS.
