Siemens Mobility and Logistics has partnered with Itertis, Inc. to expand its coverage area in the state of Texas.
Iteris, Inc. will distribute the complete Siemens intelligent traffic product across Texas. The contract ensures Siemens a strong position in the state and offers Iteris a significant expansion of its traffic and intelligent transportation portfolio.
“This agreement allows both Siemens and Iteris the opportunity to better provide solutions to the many traffic challenges U.S. cities face,” said Frank LoPresti, vice president of road and city mobility, Siemens Mobility and Logistics division. “Efficient traffic control technologies can benefit cities and their citizens by shortening travel times and reducing congestion, while also offering valuable environmental benefits.”
