Michelle Kendall has been named area manager for the Orlando office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Michelle Kendall has been named area manager for the Orlando office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In her new position, Kendall is responsible for operational and strategic management in central and North Florida. Parsons Brinckerhoff is involved in a number of strategic infrastructure initiatives in the state, including transit and transportation projects, water and wastewater infrastructure facilities as well as seaports and airports. Some of the firm’s projects in Central Florida include Water Conserv II, SunRail, and construction management for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise.

A Parsons Brinckerhoff vice president, Kendall previously served as the firm’s area manager in Nashville, responsible for managing operations throughout Tennessee. She is a transportation and land use planning specialist, with a strong knowledge of regulations and interactions at state, regional, and local transportation agencies. She has managed a wide variety of projects for governmental clients and metropolitan planning organizations.

Kendall received an M.S. degree in urban studies and a B.A. in international studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, the American Planning Association, American Society of Highway Engineers, and the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
