CA: Sharon Humphreys Joins Parsons Brinckerhoff

Sharon Humphreys has been named a senior supervising engineer in the San Diego office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

Sharon Humphreys has been named a senior supervising engineer in the San Diego office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In her new position, Humphreys will manage several local projects, including design elements for one segment of the Mid-Coast Corridor Transit Project and design support during construction for the San Ysidro Freight Rail Yard Improvement Project.

Humphreys has over 20 years of experience managing civil engineering design for diverse transportation projects with a focus on streetscapes, sustainable communities, transit, rail, and complex drainage design. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, she was a vice president in the San Diego office of a national consulting engineering firm.

Humphreys received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Washington. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Public Works Association, WTS International, and Engineers Without Borders.
