Kenneth Jong Named San Francisco Area Manager at Parsons Brinckerhoff

Kenneth Jong has been named San Francisco Area Manager at Parsons Brinckerhoff. In his new position, Jong is responsible for managing the firm’s operations in the Bay Area, including client relations, project performance, staffing, business development and marketing.

In his new position, Jong is responsible for managing the firm’s operations in the Bay Area, including client relations, project performance, staffing, business development and marketing.

Jong has been with Parsons Brinckerhoff for 25 years in a variety of management and project delivery positions. He most recently served as the engineering manager for the California High-Speed Train program management team. He previously served as San Diego area manager, as design director for the SR 125 Gap/Connector Toll Road project, and as project manager for the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge East Span Seismic Safety project.

Jong also spent several years in the UK on the West Coast Route Modernization project working to upgrade Britain’s busiest railway. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he was employed by Caltrans in District 4.

Jong holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from California State University, Sacramento. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Women’s Transportation Seminar.
