Proterra Inc. announced Tuesday it has hired seasoned transit industry executive Ron Garrison to lead its customer service department.
Garrison comes to Proterra from StarMetro Transit in Tallahassee, Fla. A long-term and award-winning public servant, he is also a past chairman of the Florida Public Transportation Association.
This hire is evidence of Proterra's rapid growth, as transit agencies are increasingly attracted by the lower total cost of ownership, more predictable operating expenses and dramatically increased sustainability benefits of zero-emmissions electric transit.
