Tim Young has joined FirstGroup America as its senior vice president of human resources and labor relations. In this role, he will oversee the human resources, the labor relations and the benefits function of First Student, the largest provider of student transportation in North America and First Transit, the leading provider of transit management.
In addition to these duties, Young will supervise the payroll division for all of FirstGroup America.

Young comes to FGA from Duro Bag Manufacturing Company, where he was vice president of human resources. Prior to that role, he held various human resources leadership positions for the Sara Lee Corporation, where he worked for 20 years. Young is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and resides in Cincinnati.
