MCI Public Sector Realigns Sales Territories, Product Representation

Under the new structure, Business Development Managers will now reside in their assigned regions to stay more closely connected to their customers, and will represent the full family of MCI models offered to the transit, educational and correctional markets

Patrick Scully, Vice President of MCI Public Sector, has announced changes to territories and product representation of the Public Sector sales force, which consists of Business Development Managers who represent MCI to government agencies as well as to colleges and universities throughout North America.

Under the new structure, Business Development Managers will now reside in their assigned regions to stay more closely connected to their customers, and will represent the full family of MCI models offered to the transit, educational and correctional markets. Those models include the Altoona-tested Buy America compliant Commuter Coach (available in clean diesel, hybrid and CNG configurations), the MCI ISTV (Inmate Security Transportation Vehicle), the  MCI J4500 and D-Series coaches.

"We have a highly experienced team dedicated to our Reliability Driven principles and the needs and wants of our customers," said Scully. "The new structure improves the speed, quality and overall responsiveness to our customers' equipment needs."

Tom Wagner, Executive Director of Business Development, who reports to Scully, will now have responsibility for the Federal and GSA markets in both the US and Canada, and day-to-day responsibility for leading the Business Development Managers, now structured as follows:

North East Region: Lou Quaglia—Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania.

Central Region: Dan Kemper — Washington, D.C., Maryland, Delaware, Virginia,West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Kansas.  Dan Kemper will continue to serve Toronto's GO Transit.

Western Region: Gary Pugsley — California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Hawaii.

Southern Region:  The position is currently open—North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado.

As part of this move, Guy Tessier,Vice President of Canadian sales, and his team will also be responsible for sales to public transit throughout Canada.
