The Burns Group Acquires Klein and Hoffman's Philadelphia-Based Structures Division

The Burns Group announced the acquisition of the Philadelphia-based Structures Division of Klein and Hoffman, Inc., including its buildings, transportation and environmental structures groups in Philadelphia and New York City, and its environmental structures group in Chicago. Matthew Burns, President and CEO of Burns, emphasized that "The addition of Klein and Hoffman's core structural engineering assets reinforces Burns' mission of applying uncommon skill and talent to solve the toughest engineering challenges. Klein and Hoffman, Inc. is a 60-year-old, diversified structural engineering and architectural restoration firm based in Chicago, with regional offices in Philadelphia and New York City. After the acquisition, Klein and Hoffman will retain its Architectural and Structural Restoration groups in Chicago and Philadelphia, and will continue to provide structural engineering services from its Chicago base under the Klein and Hoffman name.
