The Burns Group announced the acquisition of the Philadelphia-based Structures Division of Klein and Hoffman, Inc., including its buildings, transportation and environmental structures groups in Philadelphia and New York City, and its environmental structures group in Chicago. Klein and Hoffman, Inc. is a 60-year-old, diversified structural engineering and architectural restoration firm based in Chicago, with regional offices in Philadelphia and New York City. After the acquisition, Klein and Hoffman will retain its Architectural and Structural Restoration groups in Chicago and Philadelphia, and will continue to provide structural engineering services from its Chicago base under the Klein and Hoffman name.
