RoadRecorder 7000 Network Video Recorder (NVR) supports up to 12 IP cameras with high definition recording utilizing H.264 compression, providing nine times greater resolution compared to analog video solutions

Safety Vision, the industry leader in mobile video and multimedia fleet automation for over 20 years, introduces the RoadRecorder 7000 Network Video Recorder (NVR). The NVR supports up to 12 IP cameras with high definition recording utilizing H.264 compression, providing nine times greater resolution compared to analog video solutions. The innovative mobile security system utilizes SafeStor Technology (patent pending), an industry first onboard recording and storage solution combining 1 terabyte mobile-rated 2.5" hard drives and solid state storage capacity providing secure redundancy.

"The RoadRecorder 7000 NVR is ideal for any fleet looking to secure their passengers, drivers, and property," states Justin Lindbloom, Safety Vision Account Executive. "The system will reduce criminal behavior including vandalism and theft and will reduce liability type complaints. The robust SafeStor technology is an element to the NVR that can't be beat; triple redundancy recording ensures that video and audio data will never be lost, allowing transportation agencies to feel confident that imperative data can always be found."

SafeStor technology combines the reliability of solid state drives (SSD) and the large storage capacity of hard disk drives (HDD), ensuring large capacity onboard storage with the highest reliability recording. SafeStor automatically transfers all recorded video, audio and metadata to the larger capacity, removable HDD, once the vehicle is parked.

The feature-rich Safety Vision RoadRecorder 7000 offers 720P resolution for better quality images over Cif or D1 Resolution; Cat5 cables for ease of installation and maintenance; 12 Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports for IP cameras; easy access and maintenance with main I/O ports on the NVR's faceplate; and cell antenna for live look-in. The network recording system's built-in 3G modem allows for remote access and is ideal for vehicle tracking and real-time video streaming. Integration with Safety Vision's SafetyNet Central Management System will provide advanced features including remote system health status, GPS, automated vehicle location, geo-fencing capabilities, customized text alerts, event downloads, and dynamic video archival.
