SABIC has opened a new branch of its Polymershapes distribution business in Fairfield, New Jersey, to deliver better and faster service to customers throughout northern New Jersey. The new branch is located at 24 Stewart Place, Suite B, Fairfield.
Polymershapes delivers best-in-class distribution and fabrication of semi-finished plastic materials and associated products for a wide range of customers, focusing on the image, transportation, industrial, and building/construction markets. Polymershapes serves customers via the industry's largest distribution network, now totaling more than 70 branches throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Chile.
Pete Arvan, General Manager, Polymershapes, said the Fairfield branch was developed to provide northern New Jersey customers with improved access to Polymershapes' wide range of plastic sheet, rod, tube and film materials, with fast delivery options and better overall service in a region that includes many important clients.
"We continually seek ways to bring more value to our customers, and help them grow their businesses," Arvan said. "Our goal whenever possible is to provide materials on a same-day basis, which is a critical success factor for many of our customers."
Fairfield was identified as a preferred location for serving SABIC customers in northern New Jersey due to the strong base of accounts in the area and the potential for new growth with other local businesses.
The Fairfield branch is led by Mike Grimm, who has been named District Manager, with responsibility for the Fairfield and Hicksville, NY, locations. Eli Brandt takes on the role of Customer Service Manager in Fairfield, having previously served as Inside Sales Representative in Hamden, Connecticut. The branch reports to Denis Vaillancourt, Northeast Region Manager.
