Abercrombie Textiles Brings Designer Flat Woven Fabrics to BusCon and Transpo Market

Aug. 2, 2012
Abercrombie Textiles will be debuting their new line of transportation fabrics at BusCon 2012 in Chicago, September 11-12.

Abercrombie Textiles, a domestic flat woven fabric manufacturer that services the heavy truck and transportation markets, announces that they will be expanding their transportation line to include jacquard coordinates.  A limited selection of these fabrics will be on display at BusCon in September.

Abercrombie has historically woven durable solids for shuttle buses and heavy trucking. "As the automotive and transportation industries continue to trend towards flat woven fabrics, Abercrombie will be ready to meet them with product that is design forward," said John Regan, CEO. The expanded transportation collection will include jacquard patterns in deep color lines as well as more sophisticated solids for seating and overhead paneling. Wendy Haithcox is Abercrombie's design director responsible for creating this new transportation line.

The fabrics that Abercrombie displays at BusCon will be coordinated with leather and polyurethane textiles offered by Fabric Services. Fabric Services is the Indiana-based distributor that represents Abercrombie to the RV and transportation markets.

Interested manufacturers who will not be attending BusCon can see Abercrombie's new fabrics at their showroom in High Point, North Carolina, or at the Fabric Services showroom in Bristol, Indiana.
