USHSR is proud to be participating in the high speed rail conference that started today in Philadelphia. Fresh off the major HSR victory in California, USHSR is here with thousands of supporters to advance HSR in America and learn from the many experts from around the world who have had HSR for decades. Every leading company in high speed rail around the world is here!

UIC is the International Union of Railways headquartered in Paris, and for years has led the development and standardization of high speed rail around the world. UIC convenes a major HSR conference every two years in different parts of the world. This is the first time UIC has held an event in America.

"Having this major high speed rail conference here in America is significant, and the timing couldn't be better with California HSR just getting the green light on Friday," said USHSR President Andy Kunz. "This is well worth seeing, as this is the largest exhibit for HSR ever to take place in America!" added Kunz.

"High speed rail is good for mobility, sustainability, the environment and for people as it creates employment and business through infrastructure and new services," said UIC Director General Jean-Pierre Loubinoux.

The conference has an incredible line-up of speakers and top experts on HSR, and a massive exhibit hall with displays from all the leaders in high speed rail from across America and around the world. Many USHSR members are present with large exhibits displaying train models, full scale train interiors, technology demonstrations, and more. Here with large exhibits are Siemens, Alstom, Talgo, CAF, Louis Berger, Sener, Amtrak, TransitWorks, ABB, China Railways, Parsons Brinckerhoff, Bombardier, Bentley Systems, Systra, Japan Railways, Wabtec, Sunbelt Rentals, Renfe, SNCF and 500 others.

There are still 2 days left of this incredible conference and high speed rail exhibition, and single day tickets are still available. For more information and registration: http://www.uic-highspeed2012.com
