The CuproBraze process was specifically developed for the manufacture of durable heavy-duty mobile and industrial heat exchangers. It has been in commercial operation since 2000.
New brass and copper alloys offer high durability, high thermal performance, corrosion resistance as well as excellent retention of strength at elevated operating temperatures at least up to 300C.
Strong materials facilitate low pressure drop and downgauging to save space.
CuproBraze trademark is owned by International Copper Association, which together with other members form CuproBraze Alliance. The mission of CuproBraze Alliance is to promote a widespread adoption of CuproBraze heat exchanger technology to the global vehicle and engine industry.
Members of this Alliance can offer ready-made heat exchangers, components, base materials, brazing filler materials, production machinery, and can provide technical support from idea to production.
