Progressive AE will be working with Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) Flint to design an addition to their existing facility in Grand Blanc to provide storage and perform maintenance on hydrogen and compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles.

“Progressive AE showed us their team had the experience, the approach and the capability to deliver a successful project,” said Ed Benning, General Manager of MTA Flint. “This is a specialized project type, and Progressive AE put together a team that has specific transit knowledge and experience with hydrogen cell and CNG storage facilities.”

“We’re so excited to work with MTA on this project,” said Seth Horton, CPC, EIT, LEED AP, Progressive AE’s Transit Practice Leader. “This project that focuses on sustainable public transportation aligns with our vision and we look forward to starting this relationship with MTA.”

Progressive AE teamed with STV Engineering, Inc., an engineering and architecture firm who has experience with the special requirements for these sustainable vehicles.
