TMC Financing (www.tmcfinancing.com), a Certified Development Company (CDC) providing SBA 504 commercial real estate financing in California and Nevada, congratulates Specialty Vehicles (SVI, Inc.) principals; Founder and CEO Nancy Munoz, President Leah Munoz, and Secretary Rachel Drenk on their selection as Nevada's Small Business Person of the Year. TMC recently approved and funded an SBA 504 loan for SVI to purchase a 6,800-square-foot building on a 1.15 acre parcel to expand their current distribution and manufacturing operations creating more than 10 new jobs in Las Vegas. TMC nominated SVI for the award.

"TMC proudly nominated Nancy, Leah and Rachel for this prestigious award for SVI's sustained growth and success and because of the contribution SVI is making to the economy," said Barbara Morrison, TMC's president and CEO. "Nancy and her team have helped to create more than 120 jobs for the trusted manufacturers who build the specialty trolleys, trams, electric vehicles and buses SVI provides."

TMC offers access to long-term, below-market fixed-rate financing, which enables small business owners to preserve working capital to fuel growth, hire additional employees, and contribute to the continued development of the economy.

"We are honored to receive this award, and we are thrilled with the wonderful support we received from TMC to obtain SBA financing for our growing business," said Nancy Munoz, SVI founder and CEO. "We are log-jammed at our existing facility. We needed a much larger staging area to ship and receive vehicles. The new facility with a large yard and a dock-high loading ramp will save us thousands of dollars each year in towing fees alone. This new facility will help us do more to meet the needs of our clients."

SVI is a third generation, family-owned business that has been women-owned for the last two generations. Nancy, Leah, and Rachel will represent Nevada in Washington, D.C., during the SBA's National Small Business Week, May 20-22, 2012.
