VTrans Board of Directors Appoints Kranda CEO

Valley Transportation Services Board of Directors announced the appointment of Beth Kranda as the chief executive officer.

Valley Transportation Services Board of Directors announced the appointment of Beth Kranda as the chief executive officer. Dennis Hansberger, chairman of the board stated that, “after an extensive search we feel that we have found the person to lead our agency, the first of its kind in San Bernardino County, toward the future of coordinated transit projects. Ms. Kranda has over 20 years of diverse transit experience, most recently with San Bernardino Associated Governments. She has a masters degree in business administration and serves as an elected board member for California Association for Coordinated Transportation (CalACT).”

Valley Transportation Services, VTrans, is a not for profit organization and the designated Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA) for the San Bernardino Valley. VTrans is funded through local Measure I sales tax and several Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grants. Their mission is to identify, organize, and serve other transit agencies, providers and social service groups to improve the quality and effectiveness of transportation services to senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and persons of low income.
