Cincinnati Metro Names Cangany as Station Manager

David Cangany was named as Metro’s Station Manager for its Queensgate and Bond Hill operating facilities.

David Cangany was named as Metro’s Station Manager for its Queensgate and Bond Hill operating facilities. In this role, Cangany is responsible for day-to-day operations at the two facilities, including overseeing 475 operators and clerks.

Cangany has more than seven years of experience in the transit industry. He comes to Metro from the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) in Ft. Wright, Ky., where he wasmanager of Special Services. In this role Cangany implemented a comprehensive certification process and focused on improving operational efficiencies for the paratransit service while focusing on customer service. Prior to arriving in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region, he served as Transportation Supervisor at IndyGo in Indianapolis, Ind.

He started his transit career as an operator for Indiana University Campus Bus Service and Bloomington Transit while a student at Indiana University (IU) in Bloomington, Ind. Cangany graduated from IU in 2006. Cangany is a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2012.

Cangany lives in downtown Cincinnati.
