Due to the large number of trade visitors at InnoTrans and regular tourists in the city Messe Berlin advises making hotel and travel arrangements early to avoid any last-minute delays. InnoTrans, the leading international trade fair for transport technology, will be taking place on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds Sept. 18-21 2012.
Special fares from Lufthansa and Deutsche Bahn
As Messe Berlin's airline partner Lufthansa is offering low-cost air fares to everyone attending InnoTrans. Discounts are available of up to 10 percent and are valid Sept. 11-28, 2012. Lufthansa also has other promotional offers which are automatically listed in a special events booking system. Deutsche Bahn is also offering special rates. Thus from Sept. 16-23 2012 a second-class return fare costs 99 euros, for example. For travellers booking online from July 1, 2012 onwards the money savings will be even higher. Special fares at fixed rates from Deutsche Bahn are valid only for travel on German rail networks.
Service package and separate hotel bookings
Messe Berlin offers a comprehensive travel service in cooperation with smart and more GmbH. Air or rail travel as well as hotel accommodation and a permanent trade fair pass can be booked as part of a package.
