Today, MV Transportation announced the successful start of its management contract with Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA). Under the new contract MV manages the entire operation including dispatch, reservations, scheduling and vehicle and property maintenance for CCRTA's fixed route and paratransit operations.
MV is based out of CCRTA's current operations and maintenance facility in South Dennis, Mass. and provides service to all of Cape Cod. The fleet consists of nearly 100 vehicles and completes approximately 540,000 trips per year.
